Becki, I am sitting here with my 13 year old sister, Mylena, and I showed her your wedding dress but couldn't remember the meaning of the silver and the pennants that held the shawl on. Can you comment back what the meaning was for everything special on your dress :)
Silver is for purity. The pins that held it on were celtic knot art for my Irish heritage. As was the special veil my Grandma Dolan crocheted for me which had Irish roses around it! My mom made my dress and the other part of my veil! It is very special to me!
